How great to have the Queenslanders in Bendigo Harness for the Nutrien Equine - Standardbred Classic Night. Shannon Price has made the trip after taking out both heats of the Alabar Farms Nutrien Equine Classic ran at Racing at Club Menangle. Force Full took out the 2yo division and is building an impressive record. Sure Thing Captain winner of 6 races this season took out the 3yo Colt and Geldings division on the same day and they made it 3 winners when Makara also won and he goes around in race 1 on Friday night.

Caught up with Anton Golino from Haras des Trotteurs ahead of tomorrow nights huge Nutrien Equine - Standardbred Classic race meeting. Haras des Trotteurs are the major sponsor for the trotting series and its always great to talk to Anton about the trotters. The 3yo trotters are racing for $125k at Bendigo Harness tomorrow night and it has attracted some terrific fields. Clayton Tonkin joined me to discuss the colt and also the other 6 horses they have running tomorrow night in a huge night of racing.

With the New Zealand Show returning soon I took the opportunity to catch up with a couple of young New Zealand drivers at Bendigo Harness. Ben Hope set to return home very shortly and Tristan Larsen here for a bit longer it was good to catch up and see how they are enjoying Australia.

With the Huge night of Nutrien Equine - Standardbred racing at Bendigo Harness this Friday I took the opportunity to catch up with Greg Sugars. Greg has a huge hand of drives on the night driving in all but 1 of the Nutrien Classics. Great to catch up with Derek Delany from Oakwood Stud in Ireland. The Vincent Delaney Memorial Racing Weekend is on August 12 & 13 and it was great to catch up for a chat about the weekend and Harness racing in Ireland.

Out and About at the Union Hotel Ascot Vale and caught up with the part of the team from Woodlands Stud NZ. I sat down with Andrew Grieson and Mark Hughes for a chat. Woodlands are great supporters of Campbells Comments and The Harness Racing community and it was cool to have a quick catch up.

Caught up with Adrian Pace at his family stables after the Barastoc Horse Dash. Adrian is a young man who is working a full time job and driving winners and having a great run.
